Description
Looking for QR code activities to make math more engaging? Simply cut out and laminate these task cards and place in a center with a device that can read QR codes (iPod Touch, iPad, tablet, or laptop/desktop with a camera). Students get immediate feedback when they scan the QR codes.
This set includes 26 task cards for which students are to identify the rule and continue the number pattern. Simply cut out the cards and laminate so students can write in their answers with vis-à-vis/dry-erase markers. OR have them record the rule and missing numbers on the student recording sheet.
The task cards are organized as follows, making it easy for you to use separately or mix-and-match:
#1-6: Skip counting by 2s
#7-9: Skip counting by 3s
#10-15: Skip counting by 5s
#16-21: Skip counting by 10s
#22-26: Skip counting by 100s
The sequences go up to 120, except for the 100s, which go up to 1,000! These task cards are aligned to the Common Core State Standard 2.NBT.2.
A student recording sheet, answer key, and one-page (6 question) quick assessment are included. I recently upgraded all of my math task cards to include a digital, self-grading version of the quick assessment using Google Forms™! Download the preview to see the task cards up close. Please make sure that you have a device that can scan QR codes before purchasing.
These task cards are also available in a Digital/Paperless Version
