Description
QR Codes Proper Nouns Task Cards
QR Codes are the next big thing! QR Codes are a phenomenal way to incorporate technology to make your lessons more engaging. All you need is to cut and laminate, and you're ready to go! I like to place these at a work station with a device that can read QR Codes. You could use an ipod Touch, ipad, other tablet, or even a smartphone. Students get immediate feedback once the QR Code is scanned.
This QR Codes Proper Nouns Activity gives 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders a fantastic opportunity to use technology while learning. This will really help your students who NEED motivation. In this QR Codes Proper Nouns activity, write the proper nouns from each sentence that need capitalizing. It does include stand along "I" and sentence beginnings as well. Then they will self check using the QR Code reader. This is great for practice or a review. A student recording sheet, 24 cards, and an answer sheet for the teacher is included.
Capitalization includes the following:
- Stand alone "I"
- Sentence beginnings
- Names
- Places (city, state, specific places)
- Historical events, documents, and periods
- Titles of books
- Language and races
- Official titles of people
- Months and days
- Beginning of quotes
These activity cards may also be used as task cards with any of my game boards. Click on the FREE game board template down below to view all my themed game boards.
