### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson is all about the students discovering different forms of quadratic equations. (i.e. expanded form, factored form, and vertex form) The students use desmos.com to investigate what happens with 4 given equations. (Three of the equations are the same quadratic equation but in different forms and one equation is totally different.

Students then need to find the vertex, y-intercepts, and x-intercepts of the parabola and determine what equation would help best to find these items.

Students are given a few practice problems in vertex form to find the vertex of given equations. They also need to find an equation that satisfies given requirements. These equations can be written in any form.

I also included the homework for this lesson. It reviews finding different characteristics from a graph and writing the same quadratic in different forms. There is a function bank and the students are asked to circle, underline, and draw a rectangle on certain functions that are in specific forms. ( I really like this because it makes the students really read the directions)
