Description
These Quadratics Applications - Word Problems - Task Cards plus Guided Notes will give your students the extra practice they need to analyze real applications, set up problems, and solve them, building fluency and confidence.
This resource includes :
- 16 real world problems whose models are quadratic equations. Students find maximums and minimums along with values that produce maximums and minimums. The problems are both on task cards and a worksheet. For some of the problems students will have to determine the equation of the quadratic equation. General formulas are given.
- Guided Notes, two versions, with and without full solutions. There are three problems in the notes involving maximums and minimums of various applications.
- Same problems in a worksheet format as an alternative.
- Answer key
- Student response sheet with room for students to show work The response sheet is unnumbered so you can choose the cards you want for each group or class allowing you to easily differentiate.
