This was quick and easy to follow. I led into the lesson by reading a picture book version of "The Three Little Pigs" with my students as a bit of brain break and silly connection.

The bright color theme and examples for each of the elements of the RACE paragraph wwere what drew me to this resource, but my students really responded well to it. Bonus for the option of adding that last letter (S)- In 7th grade, I taught them just the first four letters because 8th grade adds that last one. The layout is scaffolded so studetns can see each element as it is added and explained, and color-coded for connection. Very successful resource!
