Description
This Ratios Performance Task is an excellent summative assessment for your students. It can be given in the form of an assignment, group project or as an extension. Students will solve problems using equivalent tables, graphs, and verbal descriptions.
Students will apply their ratio skills by using equivalent tables, equations, graphs and verbal descriptions to host a lemonade stand. They will predict the number of customers, estimate sales, and use ratio reasoning to write an equation for the lemonade recipe.
Students are able to practice and apply concepts with this ratios performance task, while collaborating and having fun! Math can be fun and interactive!
Standards: CCSS (6.RP.3) and TEKS (6.3E, 7.3B)

A ratios performance task that can be utilized in pairs or groups of 3-4. A paper and digital version are available.

- Performance tasks summarize the entire unit and utilize 2-3 class periods. However, feel free to review the activity and select specific problems to meet your students’ needs and time specifications.
