Description
This packet contains 21 interactive post it(r) note anchor charts for teaching various comprehension strategies. There are charts for: Story Elements, Retelling, Story Maps, Making Predictions, Inferences, Connections, Vocabulary, Fiction/Non Fiction, Characters, Partner Work, and Questioning.
These charts require assembly and are full color. While it does take some time to put them together, once completed they can be used over and over again with various pieces of text…no more wasted chart paper. There is a full color photo of the chart so that you can use it as a sample for easy assembly. Also, on the same page as the photo, I have suggested some ways to use each chart.
These charts provide a framework to model the comprehension strategy. You may share your thinking as you model how to go through the process or you may wish to invite the children to record their thinking on post it notes and then organize them on the chart.
The anchor charts were designed as a companion for the Reading Is Fun! pack that contains reproducibles for student reading response. You can get it here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Reading-is-Fun-Comprehension-Strategies-98783)

I love this resource so much! This is just what I was looking for!
I love the variety of anchor charts provided. I’ll be busy lol
I have Kim's Reader's Workshop product and have literally used it year after year, so I was excited to give these anchor charts a try as well. I thought the product was ok but did not match the expectations I had from the first bundled product I ever purchased from this seller. Do not get me wrong, the anchor charts are fine they just were not exactly what I was looking for.
This is an amazing resource for anyone who loves using anchor charts!
Great resource, my students were engaged, busy and learning.
Great anchor chart resource.
Great!
This is a great visual to help my students in reading intervention.
