Are your students in need of repeat practice when it comes to reading comprehension skills?

These 20 fiction and non-fiction reading comprehension task cards with text-dependent reading comprehension questions modeled after common core standardized test questions are the perfect solution to give your students the practice they need. Great for SBAC & CAASPP test prep!

The use of well-known youth stories and short modern informational text articles will help engage your students as they practice answering multiple-choice, multi-part (A/B questions -evidence-based selected response), multi-select, and constructed response questions about a text.

Great for middle school students. Teachers of other grade levels have found success. Click for the Elementary.

There are 20 short passages and 52 Standardized Test Style questions. There is a mix of reading standards to help spiral in reading comprehension skills practice.

The task cards are leveled to help easily differentiate reading passages that will best meet your students' needs. There are 4 Low (6th Grade), 6 Medium (7th Grade), and 10 High (8th+ Grade). The levels are based on the ATOS level.
