Description
Help your early learners or special education students work on their expressive and receptive language skills by using this money-saving bundle of Flashcards. Ideal for use in ABA or therapy sessions or in a one-to-one teaching setting, such as a discrete trial training (DT).
These Flashcards sets feature familiar vocabulary and beginning academic concepts that preschool or early elementary students may be familiar with. Real photos provide realistic images for engaging learners.
What's Included:
- Real Photo Flashcards (animals, body parts, actions, common objects)
- Simple Clipart Flashcards (colors, shapes, numbers, letters, matching pairs, spatial concepts, object to picture match)
- Receptive ID Data Sheets
- Expressive ID Data Sheets
- Discrete Trial Data Form
You will receive PDF download files for each set in the bundle.
Flashcards are simple design and have no distracting color text or graphics. These are perfect for Autism preschool, ECSE, and special education classes needing a simple option for working common object vocabulary.
To use (Receptive):
- Put two-five cards (depending on the level of the student) down.
- Instruct student to "give me X" or "show me X"
- Label item when correct.
To use (Expressive):
- Put two-five cards (depending on the level of the student) down.
- Instruct student with "what's this?"
- Label item when correct.
You can teach this skill in a discrete trial method when introducing new pictures, if that is a teaching strategy you use in the classroom.
Activity could be extended to work on matching pictures. Simply just print two copies!
Laminate these cards for long-lasting use. You can store in a plastic photo storage box. Covers for each set are provided.
If you introduce concepts using a discrete trial training method, these flashcards can be implemented in that way. These may also work if you are using the VB-MAP or ABLLS-R.
Don't forget that if you leave a review on a paid resource, you will earn TpT credits to use on future purchases! I truly appreciate feedback on products as it helps me know what products are an asset to your classroom.
