What others say

"An excellent resource for students to practice reflection, refraction, diffraction, and absorption. Many times, students struggle to understand these concepts, and this practice helps them commit the knowledge to memory. "

Description

This is a graphic organizer to use after teaching about the Behavior of Waves.

Students must identify the wave behavior in the illustration and give a detailed explanation about how they came to that conclusion using evidence. A clue is given for each to aid with the image.

This could be used as a formative or summative assessment.

It is a word document so you are able to change the pictures, if desired.

The kids seemed to find most of these clear, and a few more challenging. I liked that the description came with pictures for those who are more visual. This was a nice reinforcement (short) activity.
