This is a foldable I use when introducing the Behavior of Waves. This foldable is designed to be printed front and back. Students will complete the back of the sheet according to each of the wave behaviors then cut each flap to expose the characteristics of light or sound waves.

This is a fun *discovery* lab I've used with my students at the beginning of Properties of Matter. Students will use gum drops (or any gummy candy) and toothpicks to build molecules and compounds.

For the construction, all you need is gray pipe insulation - cut in half, duct tape, and marbles. A rubric is included to help guide students so they'll know what is expected of them. This is an enrichment activity in which students will use their creativity and critical thinking skills to design a contraption based on the creativity of a Rube Goldberg design. A rubric is included along with a brainstorm sheet. I use this after teaching simple machines. Students love having the opportunity to exercise their creativity.
