These hands-on activities can be used as an introduction or as a review. Interactive notebooks are a great way to keep students' notes and practice activities all in one place.

I have included activities for all Operations and Algebraic Thinking Common Core State Standards for grade three.

The features of this notebook include a student notebook cover, a table of contents for each student notebook (that students complete as they finish each task), a work in progress envelope to store unfinished pieces, 9 engaging activities, a handful of literature resources, and a visuals page to help you know how to set up each activity (see preview). Anchor charts for each student's notebook will serve as a tool for key concepts, and a few "Think and Write" questions will help students explore and connect concepts further. An answer key is also provided.

You will need:

*spiral or composition notebook for each student

*scissors

*glue bottle, glue stick, or glue sponge

*crayons, colored pencils, highlighters (optional)
