Due to the fact that NJSLA uses 3 sources, one of which is a multi-media source for essay writing, students will review two texts and a short video which is linked onto the document to analyze and compose a 4 paragraph essay.

2. Detailed outline as a scaffold for students

3. Graphic organizer as a scaffold for students to organize their evidence

4. Sample Graphic organizer with evidence already filled in (teacher copy)

Prompt: You have just read “Learning About the Solar System,” “The Center of Our Solar System,” and watched a video from Crash Course Kids called “Here Comes of Sun”.
