Rhyming Rocks is a pdf packet to help your students develop and practice rhyming skills. Students will find and match/sort rhymes using picture cards that have just pictures, pictures and words, words only, or the word family. There are many ways to differentiate this activity for your students. This was created for use in whole or small groups, individual work, centers and/or in a pocket chart.

Some pages are made for you to choose a printer friendly background - black and white or colored copies (or both!). These are not themed so the rhyming activities may be used all year long.

Note: You will need letter tiles for one of the activities and/or you can laminate to put in plastic sleeves and the students can write on it using a dry erase marker.

This is aligned with Kindergarten CCSS. This is geared towards Kindergarten, but may also be used for preschool and first grade.
