Description

This is the 2020 UpDated Version using the new programming blocks for LEGO MINDSTORMS called EV3 Classroom. This Update includes the Original Programming Blocks Package and the New Programming Blocks Package. The Color Sensor Robotics Lesson plan using LEGO Mindstorms includes four missions for students to complete. This lesson plan includes directions for teachers with day to day suggested pacing guide, 3 warmups, 1 written assessment, PowerPoint presentations, and a challenge mission with a rubric. The first 3 missions use a PowerPoint Presentation to guide teachers and students through the use of a color sensor. Examples of how each mission could be laid out are included as well as helpful tips for the students. The first three missions show students how to completely write the block program. As you progress through the slide presentation, each block of code is fully explained. The fourth mission is a challenge mission that requires students to have their Robot run a ZigZag Course using their knowledge of the color sensor. This lesson plan should take about 3 weeks to complete.

This was a nice resource. I did find it a little confusing personally. However, I was able to modify it some and use it in my class.
