Description

This file contains a 16 page math dictionary for the SAT 1 Math test. It can also be used for regular math work.

Many students don't understand questions in the SAT math test, despite being really good at math.

However, they were often puzzled by the meaning of some of the math terms. Terms such as inclusive, exclusive, between, numerator, denominator, consecutive, respectively, range etc.

They hear these words often in the English language, but don't understand fully the Mathematical meaning.

I decided to make a concise SAT I math dictionary, with examples. This was a huge help to my students, even though English wasn't their first language.

It's waffle-free and gets straight to the point, no overly-long, bloated flowery descriptions, just concise explanations.

Thank you for creating this. It is good for my students to have in their folder to reference when vocabulary is impeding their learning.
