Description
Scoot activities are a quick, easy, and fun way to review, practice and reinforce skills! Get the kids up and moving while completing questions. This scoot activity has 36 questions requiring students to round to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10 000 and 100 000.
Here are two ways you can use SCOOT cards.
1. You can post the cards around the perimeter of the classroom, down the hall, or on top of student desks. Every minute or so (depending on the speed of the students) shout “Scoot!” or use a type of noisemaker that indicates they need to move on to the next question. You can have students work in pairs or independently.
2. Scoot cards can also be used as task cards at a table center or as an independent work activity.
