✂️ Materials Needed ✂️
For this fairy tale STEM activity, you will need a paper towel tube or heavy paper rolled up to make the tower. Aside from that, use what you have available for the escape design, whether that is recyclables like cereal boxes, string, or reusable STEM building materials such as Keva planks or Lego bricks.
What are STEM Tales?
STEM tales are a series of fairy tale STEM challenges that are appropriate for your youngest engineers; they build upon a fairy tale that your students are likely already familiar with. By adding in a story element, those students that might typically shy away from STEM activities may find joy in transporting themselves into a story to solve a problem.
❤️ What Teachers are Saying ❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "My students loved this resource. The idea of building their own escape route to one of their favorite stories really made the activity more engaging. Our whole week was dedicated to learning about Disney and the art of design, so this activity fit in perfectly with our theme."
