Description

Do you find that your students are rushing through word problems and not fully understanding what the question is asking? Are they making careless mistakes and missing key information? The Word Problem Wizard template was designed to support students in making sense of word problems through scaffolding. This structure encourages students to reread and mark up important information in the problem. They draw math models, write matching equations, and answer the question asked. I have seen great progress in my students’ problem solving skills thanks to this activity. I hope you find so, too!
