Description

Do your students struggle with the basics of scatterplots? Do they need extra practice interpreting scatterplots? This activity is perfect for you!
This activity includes 24 different cards, asking questions about positive or negative correlations and high or low correlations. I've included cards with and without QR codes to increase flexibility. I added a few more challenging questions, requiring students to interpret information from the scatterplot (i.e. If a dog is 16 years old, are they more likely to be 20 pounds, 50 pounds, or 90 pounds?)
This can be used as a scoot activity, or as task cards at a math station or for extra practice for struggling students. Also included in this set is an answer recording sheet, an answer key for the recording sheet, and an exit ticket (with an answer key).

I appreciated the variety of problems and different levels. These cards were great for extra practice in evaluating correlation when interpreting scatter plots.
