Exploration Stations: hand lens, magnet, prism, mirror or microscope, balance, spring scale, centimeter ruler, timer or stopwatch, 100 mL graduated cylinders, thermometers

Candy Investigation: cups, Skittles, spoons or stirring rods, stopwatch, thermometer

I used this as the first lab of the year, and having the separate stations really helped. I printed and laminated the cards, had the materials ready to go and the students had fun putting their hands on the tools and testing them out.
