There are 7 original student pages including: vocabulary foldables, graphic organizers, and a sortable activity. All pages are sized to fit into a composition notebook. This unit is designed to align with the Harcourt 5th grade California Science textbook, but would be a great addition to any upper elementary unit on the scientific method and science skills.
Examples with answer keys included for all pages.
**This file has been edited to include two versions: a file with grey dotted lines and another with black dotted lines** I prefer the grey lines but some printers don't print them correctly.

This resource makes a useful reference document for students to use.
I found this resource quite helpful when teaching/introducing the scientific method. It's visual, and writing the information down in the interactive notebook helps with retention. When we perform experiments they use their completed notebook to help guide them through the process.
