Description
Are you looking for practice with sentence structure, forming complete sentences, beginning sentences with uppercase letters, and ending sentences with punctuation? These Sentence Building cards can help your students make simple complete sentences.
There are 10 different sentences in this set that need to be unscrambled. When students work together or individually to create these sentences, they are using good thinking skills. These words when unscrambled will make a sentence that has to do with April or Easter.
Students just match up the character on each card and try to make a sentence that makes sense out of them. There isn't any writing attached with this, but if that's something you'd like to add, you certainly may do that.
You can do this in small groups, with an educational aide, or you can put it in a pocket chart for the whole group to try to complete.
This is a great activity for advanced kindergarteners or first and second graders.
An answer key is provided.
