Description

These complete project slides will guide your students through creating a game using the Scratch platform. Students can be self-paced or classes can move through the project together. Great for STEM or STEAM classes, use in the classroom with content specific topics, or to celebrate Hour of Code!

NOTE: The rubric assumes teaching of conditionals and loops. HOWEVER- if you remove the rubrics, there is no pre-teaching necessary. Additionally, students will need to create Scratch accounts to save their project.

This project is planned to support the ISTE Standards for Students

  • 1.6.d- Students publish or present content that customizes the message and medium for their intended audiences.
  • 1.5.d- Students understand how automation works and use algorithmic thinking to develop a sequence of steps to create and test automated solutions.

I'm sorry it didn't work out- this resource is definitely geared toward scratch beginners while making room for those that are familiar and ready for a bigger challenge. I do try to make sure all the slides and materials are available in the preview to help everyone make sure they can see what they are purchasing.
