"I wanted an activity that would allow students to practice adding decimals, but also make the connection to money/purchasing items. They really enjoyed this activity, and were very engaged."

I used this in my 6th grade classroom as most of the students needed a decimal review and this brings a real work example to them.

I felt very unprepared when a student with an adding and subtracting decimals IEP goal was added to my caseload, as the other IEP goals I've been working with are not at that level yet. This resource was the perfect activity for my student! Plan to continue utilizing in the future!
