Description
Use these fun task cards with your students to practice simplifying fractions! This engaging activity can be used in small groups, as a game, centers, as a "scoot," etc.! There are 26 different fractions to be simplified.
There is a recording sheet included for your students to write down the answers from each card before they go back and check their work using an electronic device. Even if your students don't have devices, the purple task cards can be used alone!
I recommend you print these cards on white card stock for durability. Laminating is a good idea but keep in mind that sometimes the glare can impair the QR code from working properly. You might want to test it with one card first - it truly depends on how thick the laminating film is! Cut the cards apart: the purple cards have the fraction and the matching green card has the code/answer.
I have another QR Code/Task Card activity on parts of speech and sentences that includes all owl facts. Check it out here:

Here are some other fraction and decimal products from my store:
Breaking Down (Decomposing) Fractions and Using Repeated Addition to Multiply Fractions With Whole Numbers
Easy Fractions Flashcards 2
Interactive Fraction Presentation: Identifying, Creating Equivalents, and Reducing
Easy Fractions Flashcards 1
Decimals: Comparing, Ordering, Identifying Place Value, Identifying Value, Number Lines, Expanded Notation, Pronouncing, and Math Centers
