Make simplifying radicals fun as students use their answers to build a robot! Students will LOVE creating a cute robot as they practice simplifying square roots.

Grade at a Glance!

In this engaging activity, students simplify 10 different radical expressions without variables. The radicals do not include variables. They use their answers to identify the correct pieces and colors to create a silly robot. You can quickly check students' work by the shapes, colors, accessories, etc. to make sure students are on the right track.

Students can cut and paste the pieces together, or trace/freehand if you want to skip the mess. Please note that the activity is not editable.

Includes 10 simplifying square root problems and an optional extension question at the end where students can create their own radical expression to add a feature to their robot.
