Description
How I use this
Each week I focus on one review skill with my Algebra 1 class. We do 2-4 problems on this skill at the beginning of each class. This is in addition to the lesson, but is a fundamental skill like solving equations or simplifying radicals, that will help them understand the lesson better.
At the end of the week, or 2 weeks if I see them every other day, I give them a Skill Review Quiz. I make 4 versions (since they sit in groups of 4 in my room) and it's about 5 questions long, taking 15ish minutes to complete give or take.
Why?
As simple and straight forward as this mini-quiz is, when students practice the same skill repeatedly they build the repetition needed to have a strong foundation in math. I have found it to be a powerful tool in my classroom and hope you do too!

What's Included and What's Not
In this Skill Review Quiz: One-Step Equations you will get 4 versions of a quiz on the topic of One-Step Equations. Each quiz has 5 questions and it is on a google doc.
This product does not include the 2-4 questions I gave students at the beginning of each class leading up to the quiz, nor does it include an answer key. If there is interest in this product (>5 purchases) then I will add those in for free!
