Description

Earth Science Astronomy NGSS Space Science

Take students beyond a worksheet and into an interactive field-guide experience where they explore the solar system through real planet imagery, gravity investigations, 3D exploration, scale comparisons, CER writing, and self-check activities.

Designed in a premium field-guide style, this no-prep HTML lab gives students a meaningful way to analyze patterns, compare evidence, and investigate how objects in our solar system differ in size, gravity, and motion.

Students move through interactive sections while collecting observations that automatically feed into a final field report.

This resource works great for Earth Science, astronomy, space units, station rotations, sub plans, enrichment, and independent digital learning.

Technology Information

This resource is delivered as a single HTML file.

Students should:

Download the file
Open in Chrome or Microsoft Edge
Avoid opening through Google Drive preview or Canvas preview

Important iPad Note:

NASA extension resources require internet access and may be restricted by district filters.

A Note From Simple Science For You

This lesson was built by a science teacher, for science teachers. I know what it feels like to want an engaging activity that actually makes students think, not just click through.

This interactive experience was designed to move students beyond passive clicking and into observation, comparison, evidence gathering, and explanation using real science concepts and data.
