Greetings! Middle school science students will complete the following tasks for this full-page activity.
- Make surface and atmospheric comparisons between the terrestrial planets and the Jovian planets
- Rank the terrestrial plants by atmospheric density and temperature
- Compare and contrast the sun's surface features (prominences, sunspots, and solar flares)
- Compare and distinguish the galactic objects by filling in a flow chart and answering short answer questions (comets, asteroids, meteoroids, meteors, and meteorites)
- Complete a paragraph about Newton's Law of Inertia in a fill-in-the-blank section
I provided a full-page key with the answers in bold, red font. I also included a word bank for the two fill-in-the-blank parts.
