Description

This video lesson is aligned to Lesson 2.12 in the Grade 4 Go Math on Solving Multistep Problems Using Equations. In this lesson, students follow the proper order of operations to arrive at the correct answer. They will also explore solving multi-step word problems. Students sometimes make the mistake of trying to solve multi-step equations from left to right. It is important to master this stage of the order of operations as it becomes more complicated with the addition of parenthesis and exponents. This video is 10 minutes 50 seconds in length.

This video can be used in the classroom or posted on a teacher's website to be viewed at home to reinforce instruction. Great for students to view while doing homework, studying for test, or to stay up to date while absent. It is also great for parents who have a difficult time understanding the methods and concepts taught with the Common Core Mathematics Standards.
