I love error analysis problems. It allows students to work through problems and critically think about someone else's work while at the same time learning and solving the problem themselves.

My students enjoyed finding the errors in this activity. I had students work in pairs, and each pair was assigned a problem. They worked together to find the mistake. Then, they had to present their problem and explain it to the class. Love to hear them talking about math. It really covers the most common absolute value errors that I've seen students make.
