With this Exponential Equations Task Cards with optional self-checking QR plus Guided Notes activity your students learn to solve exponential equations without logarithms by finding equal bases and equating the exponents. Great intro lesson to give them a solid foundation.
Included:
- 48 Task Cards, 24 with and 24 without QR codes. The problems can all be done without a calculator and without using logarithms. A few applications are included.
- Guided Notes with 4 examples using no logs for students to follow and complete.
- Same Questions in worksheet format
- Student response sheet, unnumbered so that you may choose the cards you want for the lesson. Make as many copies as you need. 24 problems may be too many for one class period. There is room for students to show their work.
- Answer keys
- Additional Quiz or Worksheet with room for students to show work.
