This is a quick review of all 8th grade math standards based on Mathematics Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE). The notes are created in a "doodle note" format for students to create a quick visual reference page to study for topics in 6 different units. Note: There are 7 units in the Ga framework, but I have combined two small units as one (Unit 4).
Feel free to write in your own words/notes/phrases -- however, I did include an answer key for how I filled in each guide with my students.

This is a foldable to discuss different relationships formed when two parallel lines are cut by a transversal. It works great when you have students color the different angles in each flap (see preview). You need to copy front/back to get the foldable to line up correctly.
This is a quick mini lesson on relations and functions. There are 2 to a page so that they will fit into an Interactive Notebook. I also have a listing for a quick practice that is in a separate file. Because they go together, I will list them both at half the price I would together. I use this as my notes page in the Interactive Notebook and the practice page as the examples. Please see listing titled "Function or Not Practice."

This is a 2 page file. I shrink both 80% and insert in my students' Interactive Notebook. Describes the difference between frequency and relative frequency as well as how to construct a two way table. The first page are guided notes, while the 2nd page are more examples. The first page is completed as we complete a class survey and construct a two way table using that data.
This is a quick review of Unit 3 based on Mathematics Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE). This is a mini-lesson I used as an insert in an Interactive Math Notebook that teaches students how to locate non-perfect squares and other irrational numbers on a number line. A key is provided in the preview. Please let me know if you cannot read it.
This is a short mini lesson introducing students to perfect cubes as well as a resource for students to memorize the basic perfect cubes 1-10. Solving equations with cube roots is also included. An answer key is provided in the preview.
This is a tri-foldable investigating and summarizing special cases of linear systems. It shows what one, many, and no solutions look like when solving graphically, using substitution and elimination.
This is a practice page for identifying rather a relation represents a function or not. I made it to accompany the listing "Relations and Functions Notes." I use both together they were just in separate files. I have listed both items at half the price that I would list them together. This is a good way for students to see the difference between relations that are functions and relations that are not.
This is an excellent resource for an Interactive Math Notebook. It includes a notes page that is simplistic and to the point. Also included are examples that can be used for the other side of the notebook to provide additional practice.
This is a 2 page document that I shrink to 80% and insert in an Interactive Math Notebook. The first page are notes with guided examples, and the 2nd page are more examples to use as independent practice.
These are examples that reinforce for students how to solve an equation for y, or put in slope-intercept form. I also have students practice identifying the slope and y-intercept once the equation is in slope-intercept form. I use this practice after introducing slope-intercept form (y=mx+b).
