Description
This set of task cards provides students with practice solving linear systems by graphing. There are two options - one where all equations are already written in slope-intercept form and the other where half of the equations need to be rewritten into slope-intercept form. I have also included a student recording sheet with appropriately sized graphs. "Special" cases of no solution and infinitely many solutions are each included.
What's included?
- 16 task cards (4 to a page)
- student recording sheet
- answer key
- 32 unique "connect 4" game boards
Task Cards: Use the cards for activities such as "scoot", a walkabout activity, or display them under the document camera and have students write their answers on mini whiteboards.
Connect 4: This is played just like Bingo, but since it uses a 4x4 grid, students will try to get 4 in a row instead of 5. I like to print the task cards and display the questions under the document camera. Students can use the included recording sheet to graph!
This resource is also included in the following bundles:
- 8th Grade Math (Pre-Algebra) - Foldable + Activity Bundle
- 8th Grade Math (Pre-Algebra) - Task Cards Bundle
- 8th Grade Math (Pre-Algebra) - Full Curriculum Bundle
- Algebra 1 - Activities Bundle
- Algebra 1 - Task Cards
- Algebra 1 - Full Curriculum
