Description

This set of task cards provides students with practice solving linear systems by graphing. There are two options - one where all equations are already written in slope-intercept form and the other where half of the equations need to be rewritten into slope-intercept form. I have also included a student recording sheet with appropriately sized graphs. "Special" cases of no solution and infinitely many solutions are each included.

What's included?

  • 16 task cards (4 to a page)
  • student recording sheet
  • answer key
  • 32 unique "connect 4" game boards

Task Cards: Use the cards for activities such as "scoot", a walkabout activity, or display them under the document camera and have students write their answers on mini whiteboards.

Connect 4: This is played just like Bingo, but since it uses a 4x4 grid, students will try to get 4 in a row instead of 5. I like to print the task cards and display the questions under the document camera. Students can use the included recording sheet to graph!
