Description

Students practice solving one step equations by completing a math maze!

They draw arrows to show the path that they took to get from the start of the maze to the exit.

This download contains three different mazes for teachers to use to differentiate their instruction.

Level 1 maze questions all contain numbers and answers that are smaller. No answers will be negative. This maze was designed for students who are struggling to pick up this concept.

Level 2 maze questions contain numbers and answers that have both negative and positive numbers. This maze was designed for the average student.

Level 3 maze questions contain large numbers and answers that are both negative and positive. Students may get answers with decimals in them. This maze was designed for stronger students as an enrichment activity.

I loved having something different to do with students. I used this for early finishers, but my early finishers also flew through this. I would use it as an assignment with the whole class next time.
