This resource includes a table of contents with directions for implementation in the classroom. It is helpful to have an understanding of the terms "thin-slicing," "common banner," "horizontal banner," "consolidation," and "notes to my future forgetful self" from the above mentioned text. All aspects are included with this resource.

Students will begin the lesson with a launch prior to their first "thin-sliced" task. Both the horizontal and common banner tools are included with this resource for more flexible options for your class. I used this resource using the "horizontal banner" in my Algebra II resource class during our Solving Quadratics unit. There are 30 thin-sliced problems included with this resource, 10 for each level (mild, medium, hot).
