I teach a self contained first grade RtI literacy block. There are 4 adults in my room and the students are on a second grade track (even though most are at a beginning kinder level). I started out my year, making a powerpoint for every single grammar standard to help teach it/at least exposed the kids to the concept. Then the students would play a tpt game that matched, next put the skill to work on paper, finally they would end with a quick quiz to put in the grade book. This worked great since I was planning for someone else to teach the lesson. At the end of the year, I found these powerpoints and they were SOOOOO much better than what I made, and a lot easier to plan. If you need easy, low prep, engaging grammar lessons...this is the resource for you. I plan on buying the rest of them this year!!!!
