Description
This is a fun math center, small group, or mini lesson activity for students to practice finishing AB, ABB, AAB, and ABC patterns. This works great with a space or transportation thematic unit. Students draw a card and build the pattern with unifix connecting cubes or counters. They add on to continue the pattern. I have included some blank cards so that you can color in your own patterns to match your counter colors!
Set up is simple:
Print, cut, and laminate cards. Set them into a tub with unifix cubes of various colors or other counters.
To Play:
