These spring bird themed 2D shape clip cards contains 48 clip cards that provide a visual model representation of 16 shapes.

Included in this resource are 48 2D shape clip cards or task cards in THREE different sets which aid in matching 2D shapes and matching shape properties.

Each set has 16 clip cards in color and black and white. Simply print, laminate and cut! Students use a clothespin or peg to cover their answers. Alternatively you can use any manipulate you have on hand, or they can even circle their answer using a dry erase marker. You can place a sticker on the back of the correct answer so it becomes self checking.

Set 1 : Match the shape

Set 2 : Match the shape to the name

Set 3 : Match the shape to the number of sides or vertices

3 recording sheets are also included.

1. Write the name of each shape

2. Write the number of sides and vertices for each shape

3. Write the number of edges and corners for each shape

These can be used with the clip cards or used as standalone worksheets.

These can be used as a center, in small groups, for fast finishers and more!

These task cards cover the following 16 shapes : circle, square, rectangle, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, heart, oval, star, diamond, trapezoid, crescent, parallelogram and semi circle.
