Here is a fun and interactive way using Google Slides to celebrate Spring and practice addition skills at the same time! This no-prep, mental math activity can be used individually for students using their own device, or as a whole group by projecting it on a Smartboard. Each letter of the alphabet is given a number and students must find the "value" of 10 Spring themed words or phrases. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace to find the correct answer. This activity is self correcting and gives students chances to fix their mistakes. Students start on slide 4 in present mode to go through the activity.
