I used this with a co-op group of 3rd and 4th graders. I needed a low to no prep activity that a sub could use with my class. We were wrapping up a short unit on codes and this activity was perfect for us. The kids loved solving the riddles and many took them home to finish because they enjoyed them so much.

I used this activity with my ELL and Resource students. They found it very engaging. The lesson hits the standards, have the students practice the standards and have fun while coloring. It is a fun activity.
