Description
Prevent "spring break brain" with this easy to use packet! This packet is made to send home over Spring Break to help students practice reading, language, and math skills! This easy to assemble packet practices and reviews the most important first grade skills. There are 10 full page math and 10 full page ELA pages!
Included in the packet are a cover page for the send home packet, a certificate for completion, and a wrist band award.
Each ELA page includes a reading fluency passage with a comprehension/skill activity, a reading/language skill and a sentence edit and rewrite. Some of the skills practiced and reviewed include character and setting, blends, bossy e, short vowel, nonsense/real words, nouns/verbs and much more!
Each Math page includes a set of subtraction/addition facts or a story problem. The other portion of the page includes other math skills such as time, base ten, greater than/less than, and much more!
This packet is a must-have for any first grade teacher who wants to have their students ready to learn after Spring Break!!!

I like Spring Break packets, but I would highly suggest to have an incentive or ask which parents would like it.
This is a packet I can easily print to send home with my students during spring break! I make it optional but it is nice for families that want to keep working during the break!
