This caterpillar is such a cute spring craft to make, and it’s always great when children are learning something at the same time. With this activity, students write five fact families and make a caterpillar craft.

There are lots of options to cater to your needs:

  • Practice addition/subtraction.
  • Practice multiplication/division.
  • partially-filled or fill-all-gaps
  • student choice of fact family
  • 3 cute faces for students to choose from
  • easier craft with two parts to join and harder craft with all segments to join
  • editable version so you can choose the fact families

The finished caterpillar is approximately 13in/39cm.

Bulletin board letters and a leaf to glue the caterpillar on are also included.
