Description
“Write the Room” is a favorite learning experience in our classroom. The goal of this activity is to attempt to re-create this learning experience at home in a simplified way.
This resource consists of six packets which will assist the home-learner to recognize matches of beginning sounds to lower-case letters in a fun way. Sets 1-3 are in sequential alphabetical order, while sets 4-6 have random groupings.
This resource has already been divided into packets for you. Simply post it on your CLASSROOM SECURED SITE ONLY. Please do not share it with other teachers or on a school website. Alternatively, you may elect to print out hard copy sets to distribute to your students.
Each PDF packet contains:
- a NON-EDITABLE how-to letter to parents
- a set of nine cards to be cut out and distributed randomly about the child’s home
- a response sheet
