Description

The Spring Math Goofy Glyph for algebra is an activity that students can use to hone their abilities in mathematics while putting together a fun art project that you can showcase on your classroom wall. Whether your students answer the questions right or wrong will dictate the way their glyphs look in this potentially silly activity. They will end up with a girl, a boy, or a robot dressed in different types of spring clothes! Great for Distance Learning too! The math problems are designed for children taking algebra and are aligned with math standards for Algebra 1.

Common Core State Standards (CCSS) covered:

  • 9-12.APR.A.1
  • 9-12.APR.C.4
  • 9-12.SSE.B.3
  • 9-12.REI.B.3

At the back of this booklet are templates that your students can use to help design their glyphs; otherwise, they can choose to create their own artwork.

Also at the back of this book is a graph that you can use to show how the students answered different questions from the glyph in a visual manner.

This is a detailed glyph, and some students will require more help than others to complete it. Make sure to check out the preview to see if it is appropriate for your students.

Check out my Math Goofy Glyph Bundle for Algebra Common Core which includes this goofy glyph and 14 other goofy glyphs and comes with a discount.

All artwork is original and created by myself.
