Description
This packet contains 30 cut & paste math journal prompts that are designed to encourage your students to stretch their mathematical thinking! The majority of the prompts center around Saint Patrick's Day and the beginning of spring. There are a variety of skills covered: addition, subtraction, word problems, place value, number representation, number combinations, comparing numbers, number patterns, counting coin combinations and more! Many of the prompts promote higher order thinking and multiple solutions.
Each page has multiple copies of the same prompt to help make printing easier for you! Simply cut out the prompts and pass them out to your students to glue into their math journals!
