Description

This math project for middle school is filled with creative and challenging tasks that cover a wide range of basic, mathematical concepts. Perfect for Spring or Easter time! I have successfully used this project with 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade students.

5 Engaging Math Activities: Each activity in this package is themed around organizing and participating in a school-wide springtime activities. Students will apply their math skills in real-world scenarios, from designing flowerbeds using fractions and proportions to create the perfect bird seed mix to using area and perimeter on a coordinate graph to plan the Spring festival - your students will love this!

Students Will Use Basic Math Skills - including fractions, decimals, percentages, coordinate plane, perimeter, area, probability, proportions - to work their way through five activities.

Teacher instructions and a marking guide are included. This project took about 2 class lessons (50 minute lessons) for my students to complete
