Spring Patterns

This spring themed resource is an engaging way for your students to create and extend repeating patterns. It includes color pattern cards with lambs, bunnies, rain boots, umbrellas, birds, and flowers and black/ white pattern strips for AB, AAB, ABB, ABC, AABC, ABBC, and ABCC repeating patterns. Characteristics of the pattern cards include color, size, position, design, and kind. Supplemental black/ white worksheets are included in 3 formats: use the given core to color; create, color and label the core; or color, cut, glue, and label the core. This resource includes activities that are appropriate for small group instruction, an independent math center, and independent follow-up work.
