Are you looking for a fun Spring reading packet for your students this year? Then look no further! This packet was designed to reinforce comprehension, fluency, and sequencing with a Spring theme. On the first set of worksheets, students must read each passage three times, and then color a flower for each time they read it. They will then answer three questions (one multiple choice, one short answer, and one true or false) about the passage. They must also color the evidence in the passage. On the second set of the worksheets, students will read the passage and will cut and glue to put the pictures of the story back in the correct order. Finally, on the third set of worksheets, students will look at the pictures in order and write the story in their own words. This set of worksheets incorporate the transition words first, then, next and last. I have also included two bonus color by sight word activities!
This packet is a great addition to any Spring activities you might have planned! It works great for the class as a whole, groups, substitute activities, centers, or homework.
